Yesterday, President Trump issued a Presidential Proclamation under Section 232 of the Trade Act of 1974 providing for an absolute quota for Steel Mill Articles from South Korea, effective for goods entered for consumption, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after 12:01 a.m. eastern daylight time on May 1, 2018.
The quota period will be effective from January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2018, and subsequent annual periods.
