Attention Mexican customers,
Please make plans and consider this update regarding the hours of operation at the Mexico City Airport as it will impact overtime requests to Mexican Customs for shipments from January 16 to January 23, 2021. This comes as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak presently occurring at the City’s capital.
All Mexico City Airport shipments during this time period must occur within the regular hours of operation for customs clearance. All overtime requests to Mexican Airport Customs will be cancelled until further notice, and the estimated time for overtime to be reinstated is January 23, 2021.
Customs hours of operations from January 16 to January 23, 2021:
- MEXICO CITY AIRPORT – Import & Export: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 20:00 hours, Saturday 10:00 to 14:00 hrs. (With prior notification to AICM@buckland.com)
We strongly advise our clients to begin operations and Customs clearance dispatches before 12:00hrs CST for critical shipments to avoid agglomeration and traffic delays that could impact plant schedules.
