The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has been experiencing a system delay in processing releases that are related to some marine cargo control documents. The incoming data is being received by the CBSA, however, the processing and sending of outbound messages (acknowledgements, reject messages, and notices) is being delayed in some cases.
At this time, there is not an estimated time frame for the resolution of this issue. In response, Buckland is using a manual paper release option that has been implemented by the CBSA however this process does take longer to receive the release than the usual electronic release methods. Buckland will continue to monitor this situation and provide any relevant updates.
