Cargo Delays At The Frankfurt Airport

As a result of a surplus of air cargo and a shortage of labour, Germany’s Frankfurt Airport is experiencing extensive operational delays in regards to both incoming and outgoing shipments.

These delays are expected to continue through the next several weeks and are presently limiting the ability to get cargo moved through the facility. Communication with the Frankfurt Airport is limited and most airlines are not responding to calls due to high volume.

Buckland is closely monitoring this situation and will communicate any relevant updates as they become available. This news is relevant to customers who have cargo that is being moved through the Frankfurt Airport in Germany.
