Operational Updates: Weather Impact on Lázaro Cárdenas and Manzanillo Ports

September 27, 2024. We would like to inform you that, according to the latest weather forecast, rain is expected to continue throughout the day in the Lázaro Cárdenas area. However, the terminal at the Lázaro Cárdenas Port is currently operating normally for all land-based operations, including SPF (full and empty containers), rail, and pre-clearance areas, as long as weather and safety conditions permit.

Regarding vessel operations, port authorities are closely monitoring the situation, and we are awaiting further updates on the reopening of navigation for larger vessels.

Additionally, due to Hurricane John, operations at the Manzanillo Port will be suspended starting today, Friday, September 27, at 15:00 hours, until further notice. The Customs Office will also be closed and is expected to resume operations tomorrow, Saturday, September 28, at 15:00 hours, provided conditions are safe.

We will continue to provide updates on the status of operations throughout the day.
