June 7, 2023 – Since around midnight last night, US Customs and Border Protection has been experiencing an internal problem that is causing issues with ACE Login and EDI message processing.
As a result, entry transmissions are not being processed, and manifest processing is also impacted. At this time, some ports are allowing for downtime processing and conditional releases.
We advise importers to send entry advances as usual. Our entry team will file the entry and advise if downtime processing has been permitted for your port of crossing.
This situation is still unfolding and changes are happening quickly. We will continue to monitor this and reach out if there are further details that could impact your business.
