May 15, 2025. We are sharing the latest update on the operational status at the Port of Manzanillo, based on official communications from SSA, OCUPA, Comercializadora La Junta, Hutchison Ports TIMSA, and other port stakeholders:
🔒 Customs Work Suspension
- The suspension of activities by Customs personnel continues.
- Terminals SSA and OCUPA will continue operations for dispatches and appointment changes within the established schedule.
- TIMSA has announced an extended service schedule for container and LCL cargo appointments. Those with appointments scheduled for today may still attend and will be assisted as soon as possible.
- Appointment changes must be requested today.
- No new appointments are being assigned until further notice. Additionally, users are asked not to submit new appointment requests through the SSA portal until the situation becomes clearer.
🚫 Access Blockade and Strike in the North Zone
- Due to a protest that began yesterday, entry and exit points in the north zone of the port remain blocked.
- Transporters are urged not to send import or export units to the port until further notice.
- Vessel operations continue as normal.
- Coordination is ongoing with ASIPONA Manzanillo to mitigate the impact.
💰 Charges and Rescheduling Policy
- No additional charges will be applied for appointments that cannot enter today.
- No late fees will be applied for those who manage to enter today.
- Rescheduled appointments will not incur any charges.
