Over the last several months, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has drastically changed all areas of our lives and has heavily impacted the trade landscape. These unprecedented times have led to the need for rapid shifts in order to maintain continuity for our partners and customers. Buckland has been proud to maintain our service levels to our clients throughout this time, and we have been proactively providing resources and news to our clients through webinars, podcasts, newsletters as well as updates through our social media channels.
Now that businesses are beginning to resume operations and we are seeing volumes increase, we want to reassure our partners and customers that we are fully staffed and prepared to manage the increase in operations. As we have done over the past several months, we will continue to provide the information and regulatory updates that you need in order to make timely decisions in response to these unprecedented times.
Here at Buckland, we will continue to take the necessary measures to protect our team and ensure business continuity. This includes:
- Ensuring that our team members are set up to work remotely and having adequate distancing measures for those who are working in our facilities.
- Sanitary processes in our facilities including effective hand washing.
- Buckland has created a Task Force specifically focused on the on-going requirements as it relates to COVID-19.
- Buckland is closely monitoring the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Health Canada, and the World Health Organization for updates.
We will continue to serve our diverse base of clients as we support international trade throughout these challenging circumstances. We invite you to reach out to us regarding any specific requirements that you may have, or special assistance that is needed at this time.
As always, Buckland will provide updates through our weekly newsletter to ensure that you have the most up to date information.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership.
