RESOLVED – Delays in Processing EDI and eManifest Portal Messages

March 13, 2025. The issue affecting the processing of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and eManifest portal messages has been resolved. The CBSA had been experiencing delays in sending outbound messages such as acknowledgements, reject messages, and notices through EDI and the eManifest portal. During this period, users may have encountered difficulties with trade data being stuck in the “Updating” status. The CBSA worked diligently to address the problem, and normal operations have now resumed.

Clients and service providers who transmit trade data using EDI and the eManifest portal can revert to their standard procedures. The CBSA regrets any inconvenience caused by this issue and appreciates the continued cooperation of its clients during the resolution process. Further updates will be provided if additional information becomes available.
