Starting July 7, 2025, companies exporting certain goods from Mexico must obtain an Automatic Export Notice prior to customs clearance, as established in the Agreement published by the Ministry of Economy.
This requirement applies to 30 tariff classifications, including:

Laptops and telecommunications equipment

Automotive seat parts, cables, and catalytic converters

Medical and diagnostic devices
-
Transformers, fiber optic cables, and memory units
🗓️ Key Dates:

June 30, 2025: Start date to submit requests
-
July 7, 2025: Entry into force — the notice is required before exporting applicable goods
📌 How to Request the Automatic Export Notice
Requests must be submitted via email to:

Email subject line: “Solicitud de Aviso” (Notice Request)
Required attachments:
✅ Excel form downloaded from SNICE (must be named FORMATO-AAE)
✅ Free-form letter per rule 1.3.5 (PDF, must be named ESCRITO LIBRE)
✅ Document proving legal representation (PDF, must be named ACREDITACION)
✅ Official ID (PDF, must be named IDENTIFICACION)
Important: The email address provided in the Excel form must match the email used to send the request.
If the request meets all requirements, an acknowledgment with a tracking number will be received within 24 hours. The Automatic Export Notice will be issued within the following 10 business days.
⚠️ Common Errors That May Lead to Rejection:

Email subject line is different from “Solicitud de Aviso”

Missing or incorrectly named attachments

Use of unsupported file formats (ZIP, JPG, Word, etc.)

Mismatch between the sender’s email and the one in the Excel file
💡 Questions Under Review by the Authority:

Should the notice be submitted per shipment in consolidated export entries, or per export entry?

Can the quantity in the export notice differ from the one declared in the export entry?
