Holiday Hours at the US/MX Border – Mexico Labor Day and Commemoration of the Battle of Puebla

Please be aware of the following holiday hours at the US/MX border in observance of Mexico Labor Day on May 1st and the Commemoration of the Battle of Puebla on May 5th, 2025:

Mexico Labor Day (May 1st)

All overtime requests for services with instructions must be sent and received by Buckland, no later than Wednesday, April 30, at 12:00 hrs (local time) to ensure crossing during the holiday.

• Buckland Mexico Office: Closed.
• Buckland Laredo Office: Only overtime service. Customs hours of operation from 8:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs.
• Buckland Laredo Warehouse: Regular hours of operation.
• El Paso Buckland Office & Warehouse: Regular hours of operation.
• Laredo World Trade Bridge: Customs hours of operation from 8:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs.
• Laredo Colombia Bridge: Closed.
• El Paso Zaragoza Bridge: Only overtime service. Customs hours of operation from 8:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs.
• San Jeronimo Bridge, Cordova Bridge: Closed.
• Matamoros Port “Gral. Ignacio Zaragoza”: Only overtime service. Customs hours of operation from 10:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs & 18:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs.
• Mexico City Airport: Only MX customs overtime service.
• Guadalajara Airport: Only MX customs overtime service from 12:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs.
• Querétaro Airport: Only MX customs overtime service.
• Ramos Arizpe Airport: Only MX customs overtime service from 12:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs.
• AIFA Airport, Monterrey, Toluca Tijuana, San Luis Potosi, and Silao Airports: Closed
• Altamira Ocean Port, Veracruz Ocean Port, Manzanillo Ocean Port, Lazaro Cardenas Ocean Port: Closed.

Commemoration of the Battle of Puebla (May 5th)

All overtime requests for services, along with instructions, must be sent and received by Buckland no later than Friday, May 2nd at 12:00 hrs (local time) to ensure crossing during the holiday.

• Buckland Mexico Office: Closed.
• Buckland Laredo Office: Only overtime service. Customs hours of operation from 8:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs.
• Buckland Laredo Warehouse: Regular hours of operation.
• El Paso Buckland Office & Warehouse: Closed.
• Laredo World Trade Bridge: Customs hours of operation from 8:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs.
• Laredo Colombia Bridge, El Paso Zaragoza Bridge, San Jeronimo Bridge, Cordova Bridge: Closed.
• Matamoros Port “Gral. Ignacio Zaragoza”: Regular business hours of operation. Overtime applies.
• Querétaro Airport: Only MX customs overtime service.
• Mexico City, Guadalajara, AIFA Airport, Monterrey, Toluca Tijuana, San Luis Potosi, Ramos Arizpe Airport and Silao Airports: Closed
• Altamira Ocean Port, Veracruz Ocean Port, Manzanillo Ocean Port, Lazaro Cardenas Ocean Port: Closed.

Please plan accordingly and ensure all overtime requests for services are sent and received by Buckland no later than the specified deadlines to guarantee crossing during the holidays.
