October 3, 2024. We would like to update you on the outcome of yesterday’s CIIT hearing regarding the implementation of the CARM system. The motion to defer CARM, which included appointing a third party for oversight, was defeated by a 6-5 vote. As a result, the CARM rollout will proceed as planned.
With this decision, it is important to ensure you are prepared for the CADEX and CCS systems blackout, starting on October 4, 2024. If you have not yet completed your CARM registration or submitted your Delegation of Authority (DOA), we encourage you to do so as soon as possible to avoid disruptions to your shipments.
