A labour strike began this morning (July 27) at 7:00 am at the Port of Montreal in Quebec. The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 375 representing the longshoremen working at the Port of Montreal will be striking until Friday, July 31 at 6:59 am. This will have an impact on all terminals and the movement of any vessels due to arrive at the Port of Montreal during this time frame.
